Volunteer labor for the local school district

Landscaping the new grade school playground (along with other volunteers)
Volunteer help with moving old classroom contents to the new ones
Construction of library shelving and assembly of new student desks
Tree planting and landscaping at the new school building
Community diabetes screening
Community youth hearing screening
PRIZM magnifier reader machine for the school library, student and community use
Reader machines for visually impaired
Spearheaded fundraising for the purchase of four community defibrillators
Construction of a new picnic shelter with the City of Battle Lake, Battle Lake C&C, BL Horseshoe Club, the Lions Club gave $600 and 70 manhours of labor
Equiping each of the elementary classrooms with an audio system for the teacher to use for those who have hearing loss, with another organization will seek to equip the high school classrooms as well
Virtually every classroom of the school wishing a "Smart" board has one.
Sponsor, coordinate and provide funds for local expenses of the local Red Cross Blood Drive
